It was with a great deal of pride that I read this report in our local paper last week while at home. The McGlynn boys ( Hollis included ) are brilliant ambassadors not only for sport in Abergavenny, but also more importantly they are the kind of people that it is a privilege to know as they are excellent young people, giving the lie to talk of the 'Hoody Generation' - they do wear hoods but in a good way.
I am of such great age that I can remember their first games of hockey when as I guess 9 - 10 year olds they took thier first steps on their sporting journey. I look forward to following their careers as Welsh International players of the future :-)... they were always a joy to train and once they understood the tactics of the game and something called 'marking' they were on their way!
